4 - Yangquan, ShanXi

Yangquan is a coal mining town. Past adoptive families tell of hearing the boom of explosions during the day. By morning, everything is covered in a layer of soot/ash, even the sleeping family who left open a window during the night. Yet, we hope to visit the Social Welfare Institute (swi), as this is where Xiyuan now lives.
