27 - Prayers Answered! and Goodbye China :-)

7/11 At 9:35am Gerald received a call from our guide, Lucy. All is well and problem solved. Thank you each of you who prayed for us. We have felt calm and knew that one way or another God could/would get us home. We are preparing for the 4pm Swearing In appointment at the US Consulate. We will then receive Kate's Chinese passport with a valid US Visa--she can now enter the US! On July 4th we officially adopted her. When we arrive at LAX and hand over the sealed brown envelope, Kate Joy Xiyuan Burrows, officially becomes a US Citizen! We then begin the fun as standbys back to OKC, hopefully arriving 9am on Wednesday, July 12. She is very excited today and knows what we are doing and where we are going. Here's one more pic of Kate and Cora with Jimmy, son of the famous Jordan. Jordan says Hello to everyone and invites you to drop by for a visit. Thank you for joining us on this trip. We hope you enjoyed your visit to China thru our eyes. When home, we'll load many more pictures into our album. You're welcome to check back. Best wishes to those waiting for TA--it will come!
