8 - Preparing for Travel

Traveling on this journey are: Gerald, a wonderful, patient, Godly husband and dad. Also the guy who works hard and offers a shoulder for me during this adoption. He must be preparing for the trip. Today, I found a neck pillow and map of Beijing on the couch!

Mom is me, Linda. I tend to want all my "ducks in a row" and life rarely allows that. Recently, someone very special explained that this is a form of idolotry. So, I will take deep breaths and let God work out the kinks and details of this journey; at this time there are several that need attention.

"Big sis" is Cora, age 8 years. She is properly excited about a new sister and making plans for their time together :-) She's a tenderhearted, caring and gentle little girl. We take no credit; God knew just what we needed in our lives when we adopted her from China.

Although they enjoyed our last trip to China, big brothers Stuart & Taylor, chose to stay home during this trip. Big brother and sister, Phillip and Kelley, are quite busy with families of their own.

Lamentations 3:25 - The LORD is good unto them that wait for him,
to the soul that seeketh him.
